Trademark Classes

Which Trademark Class Do You Need?

Trademarks are divided into 45 classes — Classes 1 to 34 cover goods and Classes 35 to 45 cover services. You must file in the class that matches your business activity. Filing in the wrong class means your trademark may not protect you properly.

We analyse your business and identify the correct trademark class or classes for you. Most businesses need to register in 1 to 3 classes.

  • Renewed for another 10 years from date of expiry
  • 6-month grace period if renewal is missed (with additional fees)

⚔️ Objection & Opposition

We Fight for Your Brand When Challenged

Sometimes the IP India examiner raises an objection — for example, if your trademark is too similar to an existing one or considered too generic. We draft and file a detailed, legally sound reply to overcome the objection.

If a third party opposes your trademark during the 4-month journal publication period, we represent you in the opposition proceedings and defend your brand's right to registration.

  • Professional reply drafting for examiner objections
  • Opposition representation in IP India hearings
  • Legal strategy to overcome similarity and descriptiveness objections
